When the old world fell quiet...

They say the world rebooted itself.
Not with fire...
but with roots.
This was the world after.
Not post-human,
but post-apocalyptic...
the aftermath of everything we’d built
and then broken.
The floods came first,
then the heat.
The cities changed shape.
Populations thinned.
We learned...
slowly...
to listen again.
What’s left now is smaller.
Quieter.
Wiser.
Forgotten towers cradle branches.
Satellites hang like fruit in the canopy.
What we once called infrastructure
has become habitat.
Steel and glass breathe again.
And through it all,
something else began to stir...
a merging of what we made
and what made us.
