Have you ever stared out the window of an airplane and caught little glimpses of the ground as the clouds shift? Those glimpses create the impression of entering a world that exists in the realm of ‘elsewhere’. You are still yet you are moving through time and space. This piece attempts to re-create the feelings that arise from that experience.

This painting has been created on a framed wooden cradle board. It is a mixed media piece comprising of Acrylic Paint, Graphite, Oil Pastel, Ink, Coloured Pencil and Collage (including a mix of vintage paper and paper hand made by the artist). The painting is 31cm by 31cm, has been sealed with three layers of satin varnish to protect the work and comes ready to hang.

'Over Clouds Aglow With Delicate Light' has over 10 layers of paint and collage contained within it. Building it up layer by layer creates depth, texture and history. The lumps and bumps on the surface make it almost tactile and the interplay of shape next to line, collage next to paint and colour next to monocrome creates interest and drama within the piece.

This painting is framed and ready to hang. (You just have to decide where it's going to live!). It has been finished with a sealing coat of acrylic medium and then varnished with three layers of Satin Polymer Varnish with UVLS (Ultra-Violet Light Stabiliser) for protection. Use a dry, lint free, cloth for dusting.
If making a purchase of one (or multiple) original paintings with a total value of over £700 then payment can be made in stages.

Option 1 - A 50% deposit and then another 50% payment a month later.
Option 2 - 2 x 25% deposit payments over 2 months followed by either the final 50% payment the following month or another 2 x 25% payments over the following two months to cover the outstanding amount.

If you want to take advantage of either of these options you must email me directly and not go through the checkout. Once the terms and conditions have been agreed, I will e-mail over a contract followed by an invoice for the first amount specified.

By purchasing using this option you understand that this is a deposit to secure your artwork and you will be required to pay the remaining balance prior to the painting being shipped.

If this painting is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service as was used when it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and PayPal fees.
