I'm finally saying it out loud...

Some dreams live so close to the heart they’re almost impossible to say out loud. For me, that dream has been to be an artist. For years, I carried it quietly...painting in the margins, hesitant to claim it. I’ve realised one of the main reasons I’ve struggled is that I’ve never told anyone how committed I am to this dream. Mostly out of fear. But I’ve decided to overcome that fear and share my plans with you. 

I’m all in. I’m finally ready to say it out loud...I am a full-time artist who creates mixed-media, multi-layered abstract paintings, and I want to create the best work I possibly can. 

I’ve even invested in a mentor to help me grow (that’s how serious I am about taking my practice to the next level). He suggested I stay accountable by letting you know what I’m working towards. So here I am...stepping forward and inviting you along for the journey. I can’t wait to share more about what I’m creating in my next blog post.
