I’ve had a bit of a doh moment recently. The kind where something becomes so obvious you can’t believe you didn’t see it sooner. I’ve always struggled slightly with how to describe my work. I’d say things like “mixed media” and “layered abstracts”… which, if I’m honest, doesn’t really tell you anything about what it feels like. And then it clicked. I create paintings that feel like they hold time. And when I look back at older pieces, I can see it so clearly now.
